The Rega Naia turntable is the result of years of painstaking development which was used to create the now famous ‘Naiad’ test bed turntable. The Naia takes the best of this development and technology and transfers it into a production ready version without compromise. The Naia is packed with ground-breaking features, materials and technology developed by Rega over many years to reach new levels of vinyl replay.
The Naia takes our pioneering low mass high rigidity plinth technology to the next level by using a Graphene impregnated carbon fibre skeletal plinth with Tancast 8 foam core. This ultra rigid structure is then strengthened further using two ceramic aluminium oxide braces, the same material used to create the redesigned, resonance controlled ceramic platter with improved flywheel effect and complex profile.

RB Titanium
The RB Titanium tonearm is the most advanced and accurate production tonearm we have ever manufactured. The entire tonearm structure is designed to have the minimum of mechanical joints whilst using the stiffest materials in all critical areas.
Look at a stereo vinyl LP under an electron microscope and you will see microscopic ridges and bumps that the diamond stylus of the pick-up cartridge tracks and reads. The length of a ridge depends on its frequency. The height is its amplitude.
Towards the centre of an LP, a 10Khz signal is just 26 microns long and if it’s very quiet it may be less than 10 microns high. If your tonearm has 10 microns of movement within the bearing assemblies (and even very expensive tonearms usually have much more play and movement), reading the bumps will be difficult and musical vibration will be lost in arm movement.
It is impossible to quantify exactly the musical distortion or loss of measured information. This is due to the random nature of pivot or bearing movement. However, it is easy to see that accurate measurement or tracking of a 10 micron bump is not possible if the tracking stylus can move randomly at least the same distance that it is trying to measure.

Rega Aphelion 2 Referenssi MC-rasia
Naian parina on Regan lippulaiva äänirasia. Aphelion 2 on Regan 40-vuotisen äänirasiatuotannon hienoin helmi. Sen pohjana on käytetty Apheta 3 -rasiaa, jota on edelleen kehitetty mm. neulavarren (boron), kelojen sijoittelun ja entistä voimakkaampien magneettien osalta. MC-mallisen Aphelionin antojännite on huippurasialle terve 0,35 mV, joka riittää lähes kaikkien markkinoilla olevien MC-phonoasteiden kanssa.
Jokainen Regan äänirasia käy kaksipäiväisen testauksen ennen tehtaalta lähtöä.
Rega valmistaa kaikki äänirasiansa itse muiden Regan tuotteiden tavoin Kaakkois-Englannin Essexissä täyttämään korkeimmat eurooppalaiset laatuvaatimukset.
